How famous Walt Disney is in the world. His name is so common that everyone knows his name. I would like to talk for a while with him, and then I want to know what he thinks or his childhood to understand the secret of Disney’s wonderful world. If possible, I want to meet such a famous person in all over the world, Walt Disney.

Firstly, I’ll ask how Walt Disney created his fascinating worlds through movies or Disney’s theme park. I’m really interested his mind. He may have unexpected way of thinking compared to ordinary people like us. I may be able to hear very interesting idea about our conversation topic.

I’m really interested in how Walt Disney spent his childhood, or if he likes children or not. His movie or character such as Mickey Mouse or Winnie The Pooh always make everyone in the world smile or happy. I guess he likes children and he want to make them to smile. However, if his answer is no, he doesn’t like children, it’s very shocking and I’ll be interested in him more. In addition, it’s also interesting for me to hear how he spent his childhood. Did he like to draw pictures since he was a little child?

If I can meet one person in the world, I really want to have an opportunity to talk with Walt Disney. It’s very fun to know such a wonderful person’s humor or his preference. This experience would be really precious for my life, but actually he had already left this world.

What did Jonathan Larson want to say? When I listened to his famous song “Seasons of love”, I wanted to ask him the question. This song is a theme of the musical Rent. The musical was made by Jonathan Larson. In this story, there are seven main characters. Six of them have HIV, two of them are homosexuals, and two of them are lesbians. Life is hard for them, but love helps them to get over their difficulties. Rent makes me happy and sad. I could almost understand the story, but I have a question about his song “Seasons of love”.

What is the meaning of “five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes”? This is the lyrics of his most famous song “Seasons of love”. At the beginning of Rent, all main characters sing this song. “Seasons of love” asks us what the important thing is in our life. From this song, I understand Jonathan Larson thought love was the most important thing in his life because the title is “Seasons of love”. However, I can’t figure out why he said five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes. At first, I couldn’t understand the meaning of the number at all, so I had been thinking about the meaning of the number for a long time. Consequently, I realized that we have five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes in a year. After that, I began to think why he used the complicated number. The length of time is the same as a year. He could say “a year”, or “three hundreds six five days”. I think he wanted to emphasize something by using this number, but I don’t know what it is.

For this reason, I really want to ask Jonathan about “Seasons of love”. I want to understand why he used “five hundred twenty- five thousand six hundred minutes” in his song. However, he died in 1996. I will never be able to ask him that question.

One Piece is a kind of text book for my life. I really like Japanese comics. I’ve read Japanese comics from I was in kindergarten. They give me knowledge, increase my imagination, let me forget time and take me to a wonderful world. I think Japanese comics are part of Japanese culture. I have many comics in my room and my favorite comic is “One Piece.” It is the story of pirate and the name of author is Eiichiro Oda. If I have an opportunity to meet and talk with Eiichiro Oda, I want to ask this wonderful author how he has created this awesome comic. This comic has some interesting points; having a strong friendship, seldom killing people and never saying good-bye.

Firstly, Eiichiro Oda’s characters have really strong friendship. They always help, trust and respect each other. As a result, the main characters have not only strength but also strong mind. The second interesting point is that it is difficult not to kill people at battle scenes. The author Eiichiro Oda said he did not want to draw murder scenes because he wanted many generations to enjoy it. It is not fun to read murder scenes, so he avoids drawing murder scenes. I think the most interesting point is Eiichiro Oda’s main character, Luffy, never says good-bye. Luffy knows the ocean is one and connects to all oceans. It means people can meet somewhere again and again, so he does not need to say good-bye.

Japanese comics, especially One Piece, always give me a wonderful time and teach me interesting and important things to live, so they are keys to make my life fun. As a result, I want to meet the author of One Piece, Eiiciro Oda, who has created such a great comic. Finally, I propose that if you get lost in your life, you should read One Piece.

There are many people who have done great and awesome things in the past and present, and we learn about them in our daily life. It is interesting know a story about a person who we would like to meet. If I could meet anyone in the world, I would like to meet Bill Gates who is a chairman of Microsoft. The reason why I would like to meet him is that I would like to know how Bill Gates could be a person who earns the most money in the world.

Bill Gates devoted his abilities to develop excellent software and has been to many countries to make Microsoft better, so it interests me to know how hard Bill Gates has worked to serve great software to the world. I also would like to know how Bill Gates feels about being one of the people who earns the most money in the world. I would like to know whether having millions of dollars could keep his mind calm. As we know, Bill Gates is good at programming, so I also would like to know how the brain of Bill Gates works while he is carrying out programming.

I will come up with many people who I would like to meet from now on, too, but people who I would like to meet would change as the time when my sense of values changes because I would like to learn something by people who I meet and talk to.

My Ideal Woman

The person who I want to meet in the world is fashionable, independent and always has confidence: her name is Anna Wintour. She is the editor in chief of “Vogue”. I’m interested in fashion and I love shopping, as you know. My favorite movie is “The Devil Wears Prada”, and Anna appears as the model of the main character’s boss. She is really strict and cool, but everyone respects her. I would like to tell you Anna’s interesting background and character, so you can understand why I want to meet her.

It is not too much to say that Anna Wintour was born to just become the Editor in Chief of “Vogue”. Anna was born in the city of fashion, London. She dropped out of high school and entered the apparel industry. She worked at Harrods which is a famous department store for five years. After that, she drifted from one fashion magazine to another, and finally reached “Vogue”. She became the Editor in Chief when she was 38 years old, and she is still working as the chief more than 20 years later. Anna is 61 years old now, but she keeps creating trends the same as before, no, more than before.

The editor in chief of “Vogue” is famous as a cold person, and her nickname is “Nuclear Winter”. As I wrote before, I like “The Devil Wears Prada” and “The September Issue” is also my favorite movie. It is a documentary movie about Anna Wintour and the story of making the September issue of “Vogue”. For fashion magazines, September issues are the most important in a year, so every editor works really hard. Anna is even stricter; which means she rejects lots of ideas which her staff thought out. Therefore, they sometimes conflict. However, they finally follow their chief because Nuclear Winter is always correct. No matter how they discuss, their aim is always the same; that is, to make the best magazine. For that, her existence is really important and essential.

Anna Wintour is my ideal woman. First, Anna is very fashionable because she sets the latest trends in clothes. She is fashion itself. Fashion is indispensable for women, so lots of women long for her occupation. Next, Anna is independent. She has own opinion and never depend on other people. She doesn’t depend on anyone at all. Her way of life that always carries out her own opinion is wonderful. Finally, Anna always has confidence. She is proud of herself and “Vogue” so much. For these reasons, the 61 year old woman who is the most fashionable all over the world sparkles all the time. She loves fashion and she always concerned about it. Fashion is her source of power. Anna Wintour will continue to be bright and glorious from now on. I would like to be a woman like her someday.

My unique grandfather

I wish I could meet my grandfather again! My grandfather was a unique man. My parents always told me his unique story, but I don’t know well how his voice was, his character was and his life was because my grandfather was dead when I was a twelve years old. I just remember a certain memory that I helped him to eat a meal and his funeral. I would like to know about him more and talk with him because I couldn’t spend more time with him.

I heard some grandfather’s life from my parents. My grandfather was not only a soldier but also a fisherman. The time he lived was a war, so he had to fight other countries to protect our country. My grandfather went to other countries twice to fight them; one was the Arctic and another was the Antarctic. He came back to Japan safely! I was surprised as well as relieved. After my grandfather came back to Japan, he became the fisherman because he lived near the ocean. He didn’t need studying because of the war, so he hadn’t good knowledge. But it made him unique, and everyone loved his character because it was funny. For example, when my second brother was a child, my mother asked my grandfather to take care of him. A few minutes later, my mother heard my second brother’s bawl. My mother asked my grandfather why he didn’t take care of my second brother, and he answered” it was impossible too much cry killed my second brother”, so he didn’t care about just crying. When I heard the story, I laughed at it. And my mother loves talking me about it. I heard other unique stories from my parents, but I have no longer real memory of my grandfather because I was such a child that I couldn’t remember him at the time he lived.

I just remembered that I helped my grandfather to eat a meal and his funeral. I have no other memory of him because I was a too child. Other information of my grandfather is from my parents’ story. I understand he was a unique man and loved everyone. I also love him. That’s why I would like to meet my grandfather again, and talk with him. I wanted to have a great time with him if I could.
